Welcome to Tabby. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Yossi LLC ("Tabby," "we," "us"), and they govern your use of the Tabby mobile app, website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Tabby is (and isn't)

Tabby helps you track and split shared expenses with friends and groups, and offers optional AI-powered features. Tabby is a record-keeping tool:

Tabby does not move money. We are not a bank, payment processor, or money transmitter. Balances, debts, and "settle up" records in Tabby are bookkeeping between you and the people you share with — actual payments happen outside the Service, between you and them.
Tabby is not financial, tax, or legal advice. Amounts shown are based on what you and others enter and should not be relied on as authoritative financial records.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tabby. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@tabbyai.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Your content

You own the content you add to Tabby (expenses, notes, images, and similar). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. Tabby is a shared ledger by nature: content you add to a group or friendship is visible to its other members, and records of shared expenses remain visible to those members so their ledgers stay accurate. You are responsible for what you add and for having the right to add it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful;
interfere with or disrupt the Service, or probe or breach its security;
reverse engineer, scrape, or access the Service by automated means;
resell or misrepresent the Service, or impersonate others.

5. Tabby Pro subscriptions

Tabby Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription purchased through your app store account (Google Play or the App Store). The store handles billing.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your store's subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
Refunds are handled under the applicable app store's policies. Prices may change; changes apply to future billing periods after reasonable notice.

6. AI features

Features like receipt scanning and the Tabby assistant use artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete — always review AI-generated amounts, splits, and answers before relying on them. AI features are provided as-is and may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service — including the app, design, branding, and everything in it other than your content — belongs to Yossi LLC or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Termination

You can stop using Tabby and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 3, 7, and 9–12) survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own records of anything important.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yossi LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) fifty US dollars ($50). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Yossi LLC harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of someone else's rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll give reasonable notice (for example, in the app or by email). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
